From the beginning, the staff of experienced guitarists catered to musicians playing in bands. Specializing in vintage guitars and amps, the store won Creative Loafing Magazine’s annual “Best of Atlanta” award seven times for outstanding inventory and superb service. The store became a favorite stop for guitar players while performing in Atlanta.

Midtown Music has sold instruments to many famous bands throughout the years including: Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Sheryl Crow Band, The Heartbreakers, G.E. Smith, Beck, The Black Crowes, The Indigo Girls, Oasis, OutKast, Shawn Mullins, and The Wallflowers.

Expanding in size and scope, Midtown Music began offering boutique amps to it’s customers in recent years. We are proud to be dealers for K&M Analog Design, Roccaforte, Victoria, Dr. Z, Aiken, Carr, Bachino, Headstrong, Savage, and Fender Custom Shop Amps.

We are also a Fender Custom Shop and Fender Masterbuilt guitar dealer.
